Hi friends. I went location scouting today with our line producer Tanja Nibbering looking for the best location to shoot the time lapse opening sequence of the skyline of Montreal. The shot begins at 2:00 AM and runs until just past sunrise. We looked at two locations. One was South of the St. Lawrence River beside Hwy 132 West and the other was this angle. I consider this angle to be the best for our rather convelouted shooting pattern. I am re-writting the ending of this episode and we are re-organizing this production so we can finish well and soon. Well, I must go back on the script.
Later,
MJ

i like this shot better too..the one from the south shore is in every single movie or tv show ever done about montreal, plus, where you gonna go for a good hot dog on the side of the 132 while waiting to snap the next frame?
It's even more impressive at night ! The frame lies inbetween the lamp pole on the left and the one on the right.
